Fence Mold Removal
Residential and Commercial Fence Mold Removal
Is Your Outdoor Fence a Moldy Eyesore?
Over time, continuous exposure to the elements can wreak havoc on your wood, vinyl, or aluminum fencing—leading to unwanted mold growth.
Rainfall, humidity, and getting soaked by outdoor sprinkler systems can allow mold and mildew to thrive on your fence. A buildup of leaves, dirt, and other organic matter on and around your outdoor fencing may also contribute to mold growth.
Not only is a mold-covered fence unpleasant to look at, but you will likely be looking at major repairs (or even a full replacement) if the problem is allowed to persist.
Expert Fence Cleaning and Mold Removal
Mold growth can impact the structural integrity of your outdoor fencing and significantly shorten its lifespan. The experienced mold removal technicians at CT Mold Pros can safeguard your fence from deterioration and keep it looking like new.
While wood fencing is especially vulnerable to mold due to its porous nature, non-porous materials such as vinyl and aluminum are not impervious. Without regular cleaning and maintenance, mold can grow quickly in small crevices and between the pickets.
Our Process
CT Mold Pros uses a simple two-step process for fence mold removal that is typically completed in under an hour. Additional time may be needed, depending on the length of your outdoor fencing and where it is located.
- We start by applying a moldicide spray directly onto the fence and allowing several minutes for it to take effect. (Bonus: The moldicide spray also helps with weed and grass control around your outdoor fencing!)
- Once that is done, the spray is rinsed off with water. Our technicians will use a power washer to expedite the rinsing process and ensure a clean, mold-free fence, but the majority of the heavy lifting is done by the moldicide. (Remember: power washing alone does not kill mold!)

FAQ’s
While the cost may vary based on factors such as the fence material, terrain, and accessibility, the price per linear foot (LF) is typically between $.0.50 and $0.75.
The entire fence mold removal process can often be done in under an hour—with minimal disruptions to your daily routine.
Most animals don't care for the hydrogen peroxide smell of the moldicide spray, and the spray is heavily diluted during the rinsing process (for wooden fencing) and washed away completely (for vinyl and aluminum), which reduces the likelihood of any potential harm.
